This new detached studio was completed several years before construction began on the renovation and addition to the main house. Horizontal eave lines relate the new studio to the 1926 Prairie Style main house (see Gargani Lynch Residence). Corrugated metal panels create texture and shadow lines and continue the horizontal theme. Clerestory windows bring light into the main space while respecting setback requirements. A large custom sliding door opens the studio to the outdoors and to an impressive redwood tree.
